nonprofit organization that uses the arts to foster our community’s conscious imagination,
a powerful and limitless resource for inspiring positive and lasting social change.
Evidence supporting the importance of the arts to a community’s progress is well-

In the words of Albert Einstein, “The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.”
Each year, programs implemented through Dance for Change reach thousands of people
of all ages, races and economic backgrounds, supporting and nurturing our community’s
collective ability to imagine, create and innovate. Ultimately, Dance for Change
contributes to the development of a critical mass of citizens who understand their
potential to act as imaginative agents of change in all arenas of life, including
fields that extend far beyond the arts. Those who experience programs supported
by Dance for Change and its partners are destined to become forward-
● Provide arts education and equal access to the arts for underserved
youth and public school children
● Meet the expressive and creative needs of marginalized populations,
including the elderly and disabled
● Entertain and inspire the community-
perspectives in dance
